Marianna Gol gave this presention Nov 10, 2021. The Session begins with greetings at 00:13:50, followed by worship. Marianna’s teaching begins at 46:00.
Marianna begins by sharing briefly about her ministry in Israel, Streams in the Desert, and their mandate: the Restoration of the Widowhood of Israel. She explains that they minister to actual widows, orphans (single mothers and their children), and strangers in the land as prophetic act, living out the word of God over the people of Israel in order to see her transformed from widow bride again.
Her cry is, “Take hold of your hope!” “Maranatha!” As we get closer to the moment when we will see Yeshua, the one we love, Marianna encourages us to pursue the Lord until we are certain of our calling. She goes on to encourage us to make our character strong enough to sustain our gifts and calling. She presents an exercise she calls “The Cloud” through which we can begin to assess our own character. Marianna explains that the character of Yeshua is our standard, and it is our responsibility to ask Him to help us to identify and work on our flaws. It is our character that supports our calling.
Through the examples of Gideon, King David, Esther, and the Samaritan Woman, Marianna skillfully explains how we are called, how our calling is activated, and how our character development effects our calling.
