In Session 7, Marianna describes some shifts that need to take place in our thinking with regard to “the gospel.” She explains that our understanding of the gospel must include an expectation of the return of Messiah and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth. While we are not saved by our own works, she further explains, we are saved and transformed by the very hard labor of one perfect Jewish man who is the instrument of salvation for the building of the kingdom. She leaves us with two questions: Why did God create for Himself a nation? And, How do Jew and Gentile become one kingdom?
